Our Mission
OUR MISSION
It's a new journey in our development strides. A journey to shape lives through awareness and advocacy. It's a move to raise more advocates for the novel sustainable development goals of the UN. Findings revealed that, many youths in this community, the awareness of the global efforts towards ensuring sustainable living for every human is still at cradle. By implication, only few in this area are aware or have sufficient knowledge about the Sustainable Development Goals. Ila-Orangun, is a rural community located in the North East of Osun State. The youth population gives the hope of abundant potentialities for growth. Potentials are shaped with the content of information available in a given community. This is why it becomes necessary to open our community to the world through advocacy that is in line with global objectives. We are committed to realizing the global goals through meaningful and productive youths engagement in the society.
SINCE 2020
Our Objectives Are:
- Developing skills around the knowledge and technicalities for the actualization of the goals
- Training youths to serve as advocates of the SDGs
- Providing platforms for mentorship
- Developing transformational leadership skills in students and youths
- Seeking partnership for community development
- Building the spirit of volunteerism for engagement in all forms of social impact and community development
- Building skills around partnership and collaboration for the goals.
We are committed to this, because our community is crying for everything around development. We resolved, to apply every ideologies that can help influenced and ignite development. Our team (CARE DRIVERS) through the Circle of Impact Initiative for Leadership Development and Sustainable Growth, is not leaving any stone unturned, in the pursuit of growth and capacity building for Ila teeming youth population.
